If your driving to fleetwood tonight garstang road is closed at st michael's on wyre due to flooding,so it says on AA/RAC route planners,M6/M55 J3 takes you onto garstang road or carry on to the prom ? long way round ?.

I'll be using the A588 past Condor Green, Cockerham and Hambleton and over the Shard bridge, use to be a regular run for me out to Knott End on me bike.
I can't find any info regarding any road closures for that route, if anyone knows different please post.

Just follow the A585 all the way to Fleetwood. The section it shares with the A586 Garstang Rd is further west than St. Michael's so isn't affected.
