An article in today's Westmorland Gazette makes public that a consortium of seven individuals with decades of experience in professional sport and business has approached Kendal Town FC with a view to investing in the club which has recently seen the resignation of both the club's Chairman and Commercial Manager.
The article also confirms that the same consortium is also assessing whether or not to invest in clubs up to six divisions higher than Kendal Town. The consortium have released a statement that says 'our aim is to identify and work with a football club that has potential for greater success both on and off the field within the wider community it serves.'
