I am looking for recruits to form a touring veterans football team, Morecambe Clever UTD. The aim of the team is simple, we would tour around china and india, pretending to be an English ''VPL'' team , playing exhibition matches against bona fide, clubs, and trouser loads of yen and rupees, players must be over 45, preferably with a full head of long hair (Preferably real but wigs are ok), and a ''jason king'' or Burt Reynolds tache, and must have a red shell suit, and an aptitude for chain smoking, anyone up for it?

Are we taking some of our teams shirts out there to flog?

I reckon there could be a big market for them.

Shanghai has a big market on a Wednesday I believe. Like Carnforth's.

You would have to think this up now , now that my Hulk Hogan style Tash grown through
Movember has disappeared down the plug hole in a froth of immac .
Maybe a trip to Barbara's wool shop for a bowl of yellow wool and some super glue will do the trick . Oh and I'm crap at Football , does that matter ?

Doubt it, more like a pre-requisite.

Crapness is ok, the age limit is there to keep MFC players out! barbaras wool could ''knit the kit''.

This new venture might have to resort to knitted kits if it doesn't come off...
