Should we be worried about players being sold?
I wonder whether there is REALLY any interest in any of our squad; rumour is one thing, hard cash another completely. When did we last sell a player in January?
Thoughts?

Didn't we sell Duffy one January for a pittance because we thought we'd get nothing when his contract expired in the summer? He was our best player the season he left and one of the few exciting players we had. We got dragged into a relegation fight that lead to the club putting on free busses to Barnet.

If offers are made will the club accept? probably.
Will players want to move to bigger club? probably.
Would we get adequate replacements? questionable.

I think Shrimpy is more accurate..
Could see us releasing a wage, but not receiving cash..
When we shake our tin it will be intersting who is offered a contract from those running out.
Best make some more pies and sell them in retail outlets

Does anyone know who/how many of the squad are out of contract this summer?
That could be a factor re any " January Sales"

The ones who will be over 23 years old when their contract expires are the likely candidates. Anyone under that age cannot leave without us receiving compensation providing they are offered a better contract.

Ha ha! Not as daft as it sounds. Why not sell a few out of the Club shop to get some passing lunchtime trade?

Seems like an opportunity missed NOT to be selling in the club shop....even frozen ones would be better than nothing after all a small chest freezer wouldn't break the bank......

selling frozen food requires much more regulation than simply buying a chest freezer, a lot of regulation, and rightly so.

According to the Visitor website Jim has early decisions to make on Tony Thompson who has a short term deal expiring in next few days and Forrestor as his loan from Rovers is up after the game at Wycombe.
Jim is hoping to loan a couple out in order to get some new players in.
Who will go out and who should we bring in

For me it would be from Wilson, Lee M, Fleming and Doyle

I'd imagine Bondswell and Bailey's loans will be extended up at Kendal
