We don't do things the easy way but it lends to an exciting game.
Battling performance from both teams but we just edged it although the last 5 minutes nearly gave me a heart attack..
Just wish we would be more competitive in winning at least some midfield headers although doubt that Jimbo agrees....

Snow, injuries, handbags, quality goals, the game had everything. We were shocking for the first half hour. Yeovil had chances which they didn't take. Barry made some vital saves including the penalty. Yeovil appeared to run out of ideas and we came in to the game. We dominated the second half and their goal was defiantly against the run of play. Two quality goals won us the game. Devitt was majestic yet again and provided a perfectly weighted pass for the winner. Good to see Jim throwing his weight around after the final whistle!

I didn't see the incident but their keeper was incensed. Zoko was bleeding from his mouth so there must have been some sort of contact but I don't know who with or if it was deliberate.

Thoroughly enjoyed the match today for the first time in ages. Some really neat play, good passing, and plenty of excitement. I thought most of the lads had a really good game and deserved the win. Shame about the disallowed goals, but shocking decisions again today.

Enjoyed today, I think the fact that the weather/pitch caused a few errors made for a more exciting game, fairly end to end most of the time......completely agree with Baz MOTM.......didn't really see the incident in the pen area with their no 39, only saw him and 1 of ours rolling around but they were obscured by others.....also it kicked off again at the end.....all in all good win

Cracking game today , from where I was sat it looked like their no39 went down after a coming together and although he had a blood injury he seemed to be playing on it . At one point he seemed to look up ,see we had the ball and went back down . Didn't see the incident at the end other than he got a second red card

I said to my mate during the game that Edwards (we think it was) did seem to land something on his chin. Whether it was accidental or what, who knows. Zoko made an absolute meal of it though.
Krysiak we've got history with from when he was at Exeter - complete nob.
Superb win. Superb game! Crap referee. A good 3 points!!

Important three points today against a bottom of the table side. Really good to get the win!
We worked really hard and deserved the win. Miller worked so hard and deserved his goal, as did Kev. Barry did great too with a good pen save. Devitt too good for league 2 at the moment. Well done Jim.

Yeah credit where it is due this year. A good battling performance in tough conditions. Unbeaten in 4 with 8 points from 12.
Kev and Devitt were brilliant again. When them 2 work hard, we play well.
Only downside is offsides, particular Kev. 20 years in the game and full time professionals yet can't seem to stay onside!!!

Got to be honest driving to the game in heavy traffic and snow I wasn't really looking forward to the match. The words of Morecambegeek ringing in my ear, a bottom of the league team where we've usually got nothing to win and the injuries.
However it was a cracking game that built and built. Poor start, great pen save, back in it, hit post, goal disallowed, Yeovil player shot by a sniper in the box, another disallowed goal, up and at them, scabby opener, great finish, great finish, mad panicked ending (nothing changes), a great home win and then some handbags for afters.
Basically a bit of everything. Just hope the Geek was there to see it.

Said in the match thread early doors that it was the best game at the Globe for yonks and it kept on going, great entertainment and end to end stuff on a knife edge. I had a 2.1 Morecambe win and at 0.0 it wasn't looking good. Must admit I cashed out with 10 minutes to go because a goal from either side looked very likely.
More snow and more of the same please, enjoyment at last. Those that stayed away really missed out

To be fair to their lad who went down like he had been shot, Edwards might have given him a very short stiff jab to the face. How the linesman never saw it is beyond me!
The pass from Devitt for our second goal was a worldy and I don't think he will still be here come the start of Feb!

What a great win, it had it all Barry's penalty save to get us back into the game,Kev's goal and maestro Miller scoring an absolute cracker and then the heart in the mouth time, with the defence struggling to clear ball and Jim bellowing at them to get it sorted, final whistle and the relief of of winning and getting three precious points also thanks D.P.R transport for a great time in hospitality.

Your welcome Sam , good day all round really both on and off the pitch . Plenty of entertainment on the pitch but Zoko went after the wrong man for the rest of the game by goading Dugdale all the time when the guilty party was his sidekick.
Well looked after by the girls in hospitality and a good atmosphere in the Wright & Lord compared to recently when the place has been virtually empty.
Only down side to yesterday was a poor crowd of just over 1300 on a beautiful day .

Unfortunately not, having spent most of the weekend in bed with a nasty stomach bug. Sounds like I missed a good game though.

If we continue to play like we did on Saturday the attendances should rise.
It was end to end football against a much improved Yeovil who I think will escape the drop. Their front 2 were a real handful.
We had 20 attempts on goal (7 were on target) and Yeovil had 15 attempts (5 on target)
Well done Jim.
