Our Saturday home form has been poor for a few seasons, but this season takes the biscuit. It's winning away that has got us the points and kept us in the league year after year. But it's Saturday home matches which matter for gate income and the extra revenue from the free children (refreshments, programmes etc). Only 3 Saturday home wins this season is why very few casuals are coming down these days - there used to be queues at the ticket windows, but now it's hardly ever more than a couple of people. I really fear for next season as fewer and fewer people are renewing their season tickets and I think this Summer's renewal season will be quite a shock to the club. After all Tuesday evening match attendance figures are only over 1,000 because season ticket holders are included whether they attend or not - fewer renewals this summer will almost certainly mean that Tuesday evening match attendances will be under 1,000.
