Its kind of hard to know what to do if your dissatisfied with the Globe matchday experience, and thats a moan in itself.
I was never a week in week out supporter but I've dipped in shall we say over the years and I loved going to Christie park and went as a kid and in turn took my kids a ; I've met some great people along the way as well. The Globe for me personally is a disaster and as a ground I hate it.
I can put up with poor football , boring 0-0's, losing several on the bounce , losing heavily etc etc ;thats all part of being a football supporter with any team, you just keep supporting, 'moan' but keep supporting.
But for me the facilities , ground design and all the other bits and pieces of food availability , shelter, pre match, half time entertainment, location, advertising of matches lead to a dull experience. Its been like that from day 1 at the Globe and 'others' used to say "give it time" or if you don't like it "F*ck Off" and quite a few did !
My lad and his mates got free season tickets with school and didn't go to a single match ! I could'nt believe it at first but its probably understandable , he cited a "crap" ground and although I know he's a good lad , steward hostility !
So sadly I "Fuck*d off" and I've no regrets if I'm honest, I enjoy doing other things on a Saturday with the family and I'll happily settle down for an hour or two with Jeff Stelling and keep up with all the action, guilt free ! I wouldn't rule out a return and if Morecambe land a big fish in a cup draw , I'd be there in a shot
(Joking!) But the Globe needs some work yet in my opinion for your ordinary fan, big time, I don't want a three course meal and posh seats and maybe thats the difference, but even they don't seem happy ?
