brilliant game.
I think they will get a champions league place.
I still have doubts that they can win the league, what happens when teams towards the end of the season start parking the bus, will they have the quality to play tip tap football through teams.

I'm sure the Leicester fans are just loving the moment and perhaps, today, just beginning to dream...
How many Leicester players have Morecambe played against in League matches? Just two, or more?

Only 1, Kasper Schmeichel at Notts County. Vardy never played in the football league for Fleetwood and we've definitely never been in the same league as Man Utd!

Drinkwater was pre season, in the Man United 11, not in the league.
Vardy wasn't sure if he played at theirs in L2, I know they played that BIG LUMP Parkin who did the damage at ours, hatrick?

Ah, I thought we'd played against Vardy. Either way, when we were playing Notts County, noone would have expected Schmeichel would one day be top of the Premiership!
We were talking about Schmeichel mid-week with that amazing over-head kick that hit the crossbar at Christie Park.

i don't know! I thought(back then) he should be playing at an higher level and keepers seem to peak in their 30s

think its still on youtube, taken by a County fan behind goal, with a packed out North Stand in the distance.

Its fantastic to see little Leicester mixing it with the big boys. If they win the title it would be a victory for football.

Graphic on MOTD showing Leicester starting line up cost just £22.25m!
Vardy £1m
Mahrez 400k
And here it is. A number of signings from the Championship and average foreign teams.

I don't hear Ranieri referring to "Little Old Leicester" nor saying "we are what we are" or complaining that financially they can't compete with the big boys- 6 players in the City team individually cost more than the whole Leicester squad! He takes a much more positive stance and this is reflected in the way they play. Leicester show that with teamwork, an astute signing or two and a clear tactical awareness they can compete- at our level so could we imo!

Edit: Just realised BS has written the same thing about Wes Morgan.
BTW it's Nottm (Nottingham) Forest; Notts is Nottinghamshire CCC or County. We get annoyed when people call us the Shrimpers; it's the same thing.

Just goes to show that by playing a simple system of 4 4 2 what can be achieved providing that the midfield support the 2 strikers by running into space. MoD showed how effective it can be.
Just wish Jimbo would use such a system rather than tinkering around with both it and the starting 11 on nearly every opportunity.
Maybe we'd have a better home record and create some entertainment for the fans not to disappear in their hundreds.

I think Leicester have named an unchanged starting XI for the last 5 games. Only 17 different players have started games, but only 12 players have 10 starts or more... Meaning it's generally been a very consistent starting lineup throughout the season to date. And to think, they used to call Ranieri the tinkerman when he was at Chelsea!

yeah
6 points out of 9 they were looking for in the past 3 games, not bad I suppose.
only positive is Welbeck, he's brilliant for England, and with the Euros coming up.
