FFS Jim do something about the central partnerships.
You've identified where the problems are but you do FA about trying different options.
Every game this season you've in the main selected from a choice of 3 central defenders despite horrendous mistakes whatever the partnership.
All the excellent work done by the strikers is being ruined by bloody hopeless defending...but you still pick from the same selection. Incredible.....

Good job Dugdale hasn't played every game this season, as I think we could be a lot closer to the relegation zone than we are now, he's absolutely crap !

Not as if he has a 'selection' the other single choice he has is Chris Doyle, he's not been given a chance as yet so that's it

I seem to remember tranmere fans say "good riddance, glad he's gone, to slow, etc.
But Jim still took a punt on him and it failed

The three CB Jim has used this season all have different attributes and faults, hence why they're at league two level.
Dugdale isn't the quickest and is not very good on the ball; but he's the best of the three in the air and gets the nod for me of the three options because we need to improve dramatically defending set pieces.
Parrish never get dug out on here, I suspect due to long service and because he claps the fans, but he has had a terrible season. I like his determination, positioning and last ditch tackling, but he gets beaten in the air too often (he doesn't jump) and looks a bit robotic on the ball.
Edwards has probably been the most disappointing player of all three. We are told he is a class defender and has the CV to back it up (Bkackburn Rovers reserves captain), but he's done nowhere near enough to warrant any praise or suggestion that he can play at a higher level. He's good on the ball and has enough pace, but gets pulled out of position and is a bit if a headless chicken at times. He's also not great in the air.
I'd like to see Doyle given a chance. He's done well out on loan at Chorley, admittedly at a lower level but deserves an opportunity so we can see what he can do. He will make mistakes, but the other three have been doing that all season long anyway so I don't see what Jim has to lose. He also scored a few goals whilst on loan, something only Barry Roche has managed this season from our entire defensive unit.
Whatever Jim decides he needs to stick with. Constantly changing the CB isn't doing anybody any favours.

Just heard this? I did think we should have won. I wasn't the only one. Funny how we all see it differently.

Do you think Jim meant to say Northampton is the only game we deserved to lose? Sometimes he speaks too fast. I think he meant:
"We are in a bit of a sticky run at the moment (not getting the results our chances merit). Apart from the Northampton game. That's (Northampton) the only game we deserved to lose."
