Until it's official the above are all bullocks posted by someone who has nothing to do better with their sad little life..,other than to constantly find fault with our club. Maybe they could come up with ideas to improve finances but it's doubtful.

Speaking as an accountant , I would be surprised if any loss could have climbed to £900k
Forget the Redshaw sale , that was after our year end of 31 May and will be reflected in the accounts to 31 May 2016.
Gates last season averaged 2,000.
If the W & L is trading as well as suggested its hard to see what expenditure could have pushed the loss up so much.
Anyway a maximum of 9 days before the accounts have to be filed at Companies House so all should be clear then

Exactly, people are forgetting this is the 2014/15 season accounts.
The average attendance for 14/15 was actually higher than 13/14 and playing budget was lower, so if anything our loss should be slightly lower at around £400k.

I'm questioning those who have posted the supposed details of the loss and asking if they could suggest ways to improve finances...

A director of the club shook his head and started laughing when I showed him this post about 20 minutes ago.

The loss was £794k for the 12/13 season. It fell to £445k for the 13/14 season, the accounts showing higher income presumably due to the Wolves and Newcastle matches. Given that gates are falling each year and that there wasn't a cup run in either 13/14 or 14/15, it doesn't take much to hit a loss of £900k for 14/5 compared with a loss of £794k for 12/3. The W&L may be profitable but realistically unlikely to make more than £50k pa in a good year so will only ever be a slight contribution to pay a player's wages rather than covering the clubs huge losses. What really hits me is half a million of "administration expenses" - what on earth is that for?

Just been looking at the Directors Report on the last accounts.
There is a section "Financial Risk Management" which starts with the following "The biggest risks to the business are relegation from the Football League and the consequential loss of income etc etc "

George, I'll ''run'' with whoever I like, if ,in my opinion this rumour based thread is codswollop then I'll say so.
I don't think our commercial department is very good, but to lose an EXTRA ,half a million last year?
What is this ''Brewsters millions''

I still doubt it will be £900k but even its £400k we can't continue to sustain these losses surely?
Here's the case for £900k though if you want one. These all happened or may have happened. Not sure when though.
No cup runs
Loss of fixture copyright income - high tens of thousands allegedly
Unexpected backdated bill for water drainage - happened but not sure when
Bankruptcy of Globe Construction and non-payment of £50k
Lower income from corporate boxes
No transfer income
Add to previous losses.

Would the Globe sponsorship have been a cash arrangement though or would it have been a case of "we will deduct £250k from the cost of the stadium for 5 years ground naming" ? I suppose if it had been that then the receiver might have come to us looking for a reimbursement of part of the sponsorship.
Anyway a maximum of 8 days to wait unless the club is late filing the accounts as they have been in the past

Did we used to receive a fee for the Pools companies using our fixtures etc ? Not sure myself.
I will see if any of the old profit and loss accounts reflect this income or is it buried in sundry income.

You'd be an exceptional accountant to pull out that sort of information from statutory filed accounts unless you are looking back to circa 1997 when full accounts were published.

No , I have shareholders copies of the accounts which have a detailed trading and profit and loss account.
