So who decides that victims of murderous twats in Turkey are not deserved of a minute silence but victims of murderous twats in Belgium are? I actually don't know any Belgium people but I do know some Turkish people.

Why is one life worth more than another?

Your right, in a way.

But its the Norm out that way in the Arab world(watch Laurence of Arabia) there an angry lot and have bad blood with each other and groups n tribes what go back for many many years.

Turkey's human rights record is very poor, they have been Bombing the Kurds what about them? Its the Kurds who are reportedly carrying out these revenge attacks against Turkey.

Basically people are not as surprised, with the middle east, as there ever been peace there?

On the same day as this disaster in Belgium , a worse crime occurred resulting in MASS MURDER, by a combination of people, of different faiths, some without a faith, from the''1st and 2nd worlds on this planet, the Victims were killed by ''Starvation'' and there were at least 35,000 of them mostly children , WHERE WAS THEIR MINUTES SILENCE!

Is that why Adrian Ismay wasn't worthy of a minutes silence? Because he was the bombing victim of murderous twats in Belfast ten days ago and they've got a long history of 'bad blood' so it is to be expected?

we have had minites silence and remembrance services
with victims of troubles in Ireland before.

The Starvation situation in most cases i hold the country's governments responsible, the UK do more than their fair share in aid, where still giving super power China and money bags India millions in aid because they have people below the poverty line and Space exploaration and landing on the moon they think is far more important.

That is exactly my point! Some victims get a minutes silence, others don't. Who decides and how or why? I always think back to the Soham murders, where football matches all had a minutes silence, including in Telford. But in Telford that same week, there was a child murdered, who didn't get a minute silence, even in her own town.

I think black armbands would have sufficed yesterday.

Unless it's a FL decision and when the Ref and officials turn up at the ground early on match day request the club do this?

Did you start a thread about the minute silence held in Turkey for the Paris victims? Now that was an absolute disgrace

It was a Football League decision.

I was listening to Blackpool v Bury on the way to the game yesterday and they had a minutes silence.

Yes, absolutely. But if you read the context, it actually supports what I'm saying. Turkish fans were expected to hold a minute silence for the victims of atrocities in Paris but there was no minute silence for those murdered in Turkey. No one was suggesting that they were supportive of the terrorists. Except Fox Network obviously. It was the hypocrisy that they objected to.

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world ... 38741.html

Abs Pangader Actually, they're chanting "Sehitler olmez, vatan bolunmez." Which means "Martyrs never die, the nation won't be divided." This is a common slogan thrown in remembrance of Turkish soldiers who fell victim to terrorism. In Turkey, there is rarely a minute of silence that isn't interrupted by this chant. Whether its a minute of silence for a Turkish catastrophe, or something else that happened globally, this always happens.

Mert Kilicsoy its was response of injustice, they didnt boo minute's silence for paris attack victims.the millions of ppl dying in turkey couse of terrorist attacks where were you when more than 100 people killed in Ankara ?

Mohamed El-Hami They were upset because there were mass killing by ISIL and Kurdish army and lots of deaths in turkey and no country or football team or fans in Europe stood a silence minute for their victims.

Babak Esmailpour When ISIS killed innocent Turkish who remain silent or salute them ?no one.

Motaz Amjad It's because of double standards, few weeks ago there was an attack in Ankara and more than hundred where dead In a " peace protest" yet nobody cared or gave minute silence for them. So they decided not to give something they didn't get, although you don't fix a mistake with another one but that's how it went. Mistakes happen.

Ibrahim Abdullahi Wada They were also attacked several times but no one cares. So they have many reasons to do that.

Shahab Raza Are only french people dying ??? How about others huh...minute of silence

Ahmed Azzam Why was there no minute silence for the innocent Iraqis murdered over the last decade, the Syrians who have been slaughtered, the Palestinians murdered, the genocide of the Burmese people...... Booing was wrong absolutely, but don't criticise people without context ... These people are sick of seeing western blood values so so so much more than others and it's a Rubbish... If you're gonna do a minute silence do if for everyone equally

Levent M. Hameed No one makes a minute of silence for all the victims i middle east. 150 deaths is a regular day in Iraq and Syria. Turkey is a neighbor to both of them and have relatives which died because of terror crimes. Without of minute of silence. That's why. And they're right. Its not against the victims, its about the hypocrisy.

Talha Shahid Coz Paris was not the first to be targeted.... Before that a lot more countries suffered this.
