When we were winning games, we were conceding too many goals.

But we were STILL winning! So why prat about with it? I think the players are low in confidence, some playing in the wrong place, too much tactical play trying to be implemented, and FAR too much respect seems to be given to even the most average of teams! They are all "fighting for their lives, have a bigger squad, big physical sides". We did play some good stuff earlier in the season then the management got nervy and ruined the balance and confidence of the side.

If Jim is as negative with the players as he sounds when giving interviews, it's no wonder they have no confidence in themselves.

Listening to Jim, you can easily conclude we only have the players we have because they're cheap and no one else wants them (he never fails to mention lack of money to bring in the players he'd like) - a massive kick in the teeth for the ones here!

Even on the rare occasion that we win, his interviews are still negative, and he still mentions past problems, past poor ref decisions, the money, low crowds, etc.

He desperately needs some coaching in his media skills - they're more likely to make people avoid the globe rather than what's needed to come and support it.

well said, earlier this season I listed about 8 excuses Jim gave at an interview
