Four at the back, we win but concede two.

Better fix that, we're playing the worst team in the Football League.

Go back to five at the back, we're on our way to losing and will be lucky to concede just the two.

Jim said in the Visitor, "I think we’ve played some okay stuff. It’s easy for people to look at results and say it’s not good enough but I think performances in 2016 have been in the main okay".

Sorry Jim, but the games I've seen since last September have been almost exclusively crap. Saturday was apparently a false dawn, because having played well, you've returned to the style of "okay stuff" that you think we've played in 2016.

If this is the players "expressing themselves", we're screwed. Set us up to attack, not defend, THEN we can express ourselves.

Our management team needed to see certain players play alongside the loanees who are in consideration for a contract next season.

Unfortunately it only proved that Saturdays game was a one off in terms of a positive result and v Daggers we returned to the norm.

Mfc must be the only club still to back it's manager despite a continued run of negative performance s and results. It is without question the safest job in football.

No other manager in the Football League would keep their job with Jim's record. There is a tendency in this era for clubs to sack managers without giving them time to prove themselves. We seem to be doing the opposite.

I'm glad a significant number of fans want a change in manager. Jim's legendary status has kept him onside with the fans for far too long. Jim's job obviously won't be as safe should we get new owners but if we don't I can see next season being a repeat of this season. PMG made it clear at the fans forum that Jim's job is safe. When does Jim's contract expire? Is it end of next season?

I don't think it will be the same even if we don't get new owners.....I think we could easily go down

I agree with his logic.

He's playing players that want to be here next season, not those that don't.

It backfired.

Then play them in a 4-4-2 or 4-4-1-1. Get some width, which was sorely lacking last night according to Player commentary. If Jim's looking to find players who will work in a five at the back, then we need a wholesale clear out of 'skill' players and look for some tall, strong cart horses. Five at the back next season will see us relegated in front of sub-thousand crowds.

Not entertaining & doesn't work.

Given what appears to work for a lot of the teams, I fully expect a few of said tall, strong cart horses to park their trailers in LA4 next season.

After all, we finished 4th with said carthorses and a few tricky players.
