Why did he do it? Surely it's better to concede a goal than get sent off, especially when you know there's no subbie on the bench. I'm afraid I've lost respect for him after today. It's not long since he did the same thing. I thought he was supposed to be a experienced professional. It's the kind of thing you'd expect from a youngster.

He was probably trying to touch the ball away from the player and caught him.

No blame to Barry IMHO

Caught in no mans land for their first goal too. Came charging off his line before the lad had got his shot away. Maybe Kenyon could show him how to take a goal kick too!

Not a good week for Barry "don't come then" Roche.

I would have preferred Kev to have gone in net, for comedic value only.

Can't blame it all on on Barry , the non functional defence played a big part in the sending off . Saying that a similar move by Barnets goalie last week didn't even result in a card !

I commented to a guy next to me that Kenyon's distribution was quicker and more accurate the Big Baz

I am afraid Baz let himself, the club and the supporters down big style today, he was at fault for their first goal, and getting sent off like that was purely irresponsible, I cant see how he can be excused...as has been mentioned he can be a liability at times......having said that there were a lot of players today who didn't appear to be giving 100%, awful to watch, really doubt we will be getting s/t again next season...........if the team cant be bothered why should the fans,

It's been one stupid red card after another this season what with Baz, Kev, Edwards, Flemmo, etc. Hair pulling, silly unnecessary tackles. Where's the discipline?

A sign that Jim has lost the players, as is the lack of closing down/work rate.

Made no difference to the final result we were beat fair and square! The laughing stock of the League. Poor by Barry but natural instinct is to try to stop a goal. As others have said it seems our keeper is the o nly one sent off for these tackles! Why didn't we have a reserve keeper on the bench? What has happened to Taylor who signed terms last season? Not good enough? Not a scouser, or friendly with our management?? And where'e WILDIG?

I think Edwards was responsible. He slowed down rather chasing after their attacker on the edge of the box. Barry had very little time to make a decision.

I don't think Edwards realised there was anyone behind him until it was too late. Would not know if he was given a shout by Baz but he is another player who has gone backwards this season
