Just pinched this from Facebook, where Matt Seage's Tweet has been published. So definitely not my photo!

Looks excellent. Does anyone know where it is?

I knew they doing the Morecambe Missile on Colin's shop. Didn't know they were doing a Danny Carlton one as well but its part of the town's heritage so well done.

Now watch Lancaster copy and do a mural of that penalty miss by Peter Devine

I have seen the full drawing and it is quality. Aswell as Danny and John McGuiness, there will be some wrestlers and the divers from the old baths. I was chatting with Colin and he said he would like Danny to be there at the unveiling. Could anybody make this happen?

I think some kind of photo opportunity will be incorporated in to the McGuiness painting.

Danny has mentioned on Facebook that he's aware, and a friend of the artist (Shane Johnstone) has been in touch.

That is good news then. I know Colin has pushed hard to get this project off the ground and I think the money is from the £100k that the lady of the TV gave to Victoria St. I think the remaining £90k was spent on Custard creams and brews at all the Town Council meetings.
