A mate at work pointed me to this:
"Imagine if we had a player with real pace and an eye for goal. What would a player like that cost?
One such player released by us at the end of last season scored his 12th goal of the this season yesterday. Some said he had gone to play at his level; that will be the same level we are going to next season.
Some really shrewd businessmen run our club don't they............

Not looking good for Blackpool, but if they beat Fleetwood next week it will all be wide open again - massive game for both teams

I really hope next season we play Barky as our main striker, he can be our very own James Vardy, his pace and one on one finishing is very good for L2 level, and could hit 20+ goals easy.

I for one think we got the better of the deal.If played more centrally either behind or alongside a centre forward he would give L2 defences a tough time.

The difference between the two clubs is one chairman (allegedly)lines his pockets and the other invests in the clubs future.Fleetwood will stay in L1 this season, Blackpool won't.

A win for Fleetwood against Walsall today will relegate Blackpool, a draw would effectively relegate them as Blackpool wouldnt overturn the goal difference.
They were protesting again this weekend

Hmmmm, possible but not probable. After all we managed a minus 13 goal difference all on our own in 3 games.
Fleetwood only 2.0 down at the moment

Final games:
Fleetwood v Crewe
Peterborough v Blackpool
Fleetwood need a point, providing Blackpool don't win 14-0
Both Fleetwood and Blackpool can be relegated if they both lose (Blackpool can draw) and Doncaster can turn an 11 goal difference around at home to Burton who are going for auto promotion.
Blackpool are goners, surely

Blackpool are winning at Peterborough, but Fleetwood are 2.0 up

can't see Fleetwood collapsing against Crewe now, this season think Fleetwoods problem as been scoring goals not conceding them.

Meanwhile if Doncaster score, Burton will be in the play offs after being up there for so long

Blackpool relegated.
So that's Blackpool, Doncaster and Crewe in League 2.
Doncaster will bring a shed load of fans and Blackpool may bring the odd couple or two....
Not sure about Crewe.

Hope we have a shed to accommodate them
