beating Preston away in our first season, I worked for a Preston firm for nearly 10 years, and next day at work it was so nice to hear work mates(who were blown away) say you played like a premier league team.

Top of the North Stand feeling like I was on top of the world.

Home to Bradford City 1-1 barely a song just the incredible atmosphere of applause, encouragement and roars then finally Carl Baker smashing it home for the winning goal.

So many more.

For 30 years I've been on an upward journey that so many I've come to know as friends joined along the way. It has been truly brilliant and joyous. However a point came Tony Capaldi / wild boar stakes in the Globe Bar & Grill / the 'reasons' for not moving the North Stand when you sort of knew we had changed for the worst. Most knew it and irrespective of the football many of them have quietly walked away. Even Jim I think struggles with it and knows he'd have led something better had Christie Park than the opposition player palace we've got now.

Someone has to put the soul, community and passion back into the club.

Missing out on slim play-off hopes on the final day of the 2003/04 conference season following a 3-3 home draw against Shrewsbury Town. Their supporters invaded the pitch celebrating reaching the play-offs, and we congratulated them as they approached the much missed North Stand which lead to a sing-song. Great memory, in a weird way!

You mean Rene Howe's 30 yard thunderbolt? Atmosphere was amazing that day. So many great memories from the Sammy McIlroy era.

Some great results, even when we lost 5-0 to Sheff Utd, the atmosphere in the away end with the beachballs was fantastic that night. Miss seeing those days when we took 8 coaches to Bramall Lane. Hope we get a new owner in soon and it changes for the best.

Publicly I tried to keep a brave face after we moved. It wasn't like we could do anything about it. Privately I couldn't believe what was delivered. That soon spilled on to here.

I bet you never had club directors turn up at your office unnanounced to attack you for your comments on here about the stadium and how it was built. When that happens you know the whole project is screwed.

The minute I heard the words globe and construction, I knew we were fubarred. I still cannot believe the club deems it a good idea to keep the name.
