Are we guna do something ??

Postby Kendalshrimp » Tue Apr 19, 2016 8:38 pm

Or just keep turning up and singing jims name still ? It's now upto is to make ourselves heard. Everyone in the omega stand Saturday let's all get together and let the club know enough is enough. Any other ideas feel free to speak up below, WE NEED A NEW MANAGER !

Unless he quits tonight that is

Attendances suggest almost half the fans have already done something. It's easy to blame Jimbo for his (lack of) managerial abilities but he's still in the job because we have a chairman that lost interest in the club years ago.

If PMG is still the owner of the football club in July, Jimbo will be manager.

Don't see the issue with singing 'Jimbo out' but there were some disapproving looks when this happened at the last home game.

So..fuck em ! If people still think jimbo is the right man for the job then they haven't got a clue about football ! It's time to start up and make ourselves heard !

I can remember when the club got rid of Harvey and the meeting that a group of fans had that basically was upset at the way he had been treated by the Board.

Wonder if there would be a similar meeting if Jim went.... :?: :?: :!:

Whoever comes in they have a lot to sort out. Jim would have walked along time back if we had a new owner. Unless drastic changes next season I fear for the club.

How did the Management and players react at the final whistle tonight?

I will be there Saturday as its my club for life and players come and go. Hopefully, we will have a new interim management team in the dugout.

Adam Lord on Twitter said Jim dragged all the players over to the away end. Not sure if they were then allowed to be flogged though...

I wouldn't go and shed a tear for him! Judged by the results, most league defeats in a season, worst result in Football league tonight, abysmal home record, worst defense in league 2 this season...

Maybe Stewart for the last 3 remaining matches, until somebody is found. However doubt it will happen unless Jim says he has had enough or PMG has sold the club.

I'm considering making a Bentley out banner, will anyone join in helping hold it up if I bring it ?

Run on to the pitch and throw your season ticket at Bentley. I remember a Middlesbrough fan doing this to Southgate some years ago.

May not have a lot of choice if Jim feels enough is enough after tonight. Doubt he will but tonight won't have done Jim's confidence any good after this latest bad result. I however expect Jim to still be here come Sat

think of Legends at clubs who went into Managment and things didn't work out.

Kenny Daglish - Liverpool
Graham Souness - Liverpool
Glen Hoddle - Spurs
Stu Pearce - Notts Forrest
Ally McCoist - Rangers
Kenny Dagliesh - Celtic

that's just off the top of my head. :(

For me, giving Jim a hard time on Saturday is pointless. People need to wake up to the real situation here. We are skint, up for sale and entering the most uncertain times faced in nearly 30 years. Protests, negative chanting and booing the management will only make us play worse and put off even more fans returning. It will also put off any potential investors that we all desperately want.

Jim, Ken and the players are under performing massively but given the circumstances its hardly surprising. Jim will know that if a new owner is found he will be out of a job, and without one, he will have a tiny budget to work to. All his best players will now be doing everything they can to get a move out, so for a loyal guy this must be hard to manage. He's too proud to walk away, so he is literally between a rock and a hard place.

Forget the management, players etc, its time to get behind Morecambe Football Club.

He isn't going anywhere on his own accord, Just on radio lancs and he said he takes full responsibility (3rd game running) but injuries and inexperience showed us up. He is looking to next season now...ulp
