I wonder if some of those offered new contracts are withholding signing in the hope that a new manager comes in.

My guess is they are holding out for new owners with more money.
Why sign for a pound today when you may be able to sign for 2 tomorrow.
New owners though may not want them so its a risky strategy.

Mind you after tonight I can see a few agents being busy;if thats a sign of things to come next season would YOU want to be at Morecambe.
