Our league season hasn't finished yet but the play offs have already started in Scotland and tonight sees the first National League play off.
Tonight:
Dover v Forest Green
Tomorrow:
Grimsby v Braintree
The first Football League play off is a League 2 tie on Thursday 12th.
I'm assuming we would all prefer Grimsby? Dover anyone?

Apart from how the team performed, I enjoyed going to Dover, so I'd be happy for them if they came up. Grimsby would be good, being another northern side.

I saw a tweet by Dover Athletic on Sunday evening which quoted:
When Leicester City won League 1, Dover got promoted
When Leicester City won the Championship, Dover got promoted
When Leicester City won the Premier League,
So, will it be the team from The Crabble Ground wins promotion to League 2 ??
Could be !!!!

Dover lost out 0-1 at home to FGR last night in their 1st Leg
Forest Green sacked their manager just 2 weeks ago (even though they were in the Play Offs...
)

Just think, if Harrogate go up to Bananarama Premier they'll have a local derby v York to look forward to.

Who is this guy, Amond? Can't even score against Braintree.
FGR and Braintree in the driving seats

Different
Could be a Braintree v Forest Green final. The combined populations of Braintree and Nailsworth (town FGR are based in) comes to below 60,000, Wembley holds 90,000!

Imagine Braintree getting into the FL....
Their average home attedances are 700 - 800. Currently.
They'd have a nice derby v Colchester to look forward to though.

I would wager that their first home game will have more spectators than ours

Do you mean our first game in Football League against Barnet or first game of 16/17 season ?

Ah, sorry, our first home game in August 16. Think we got 3,500 didn't we? Lucky if we get half that, unless there are big changes over the summer

Yep, 3500 ish.
Kick off delayed as the crowds were queuing round the block to get in.

At least Dover won't be coming up.

Portsmouth drew 2-2 with Plymouth last night. Wimbledon v Six fingers tomorrow 7:30. Accy taking 3 coaches down there, although the third isn't full. Not sure how many we took to Dagenham and how the attendances will compare.

Accy starting to take control of the game. Can't see much in midfield due to the sun!

Very few chances for either side first half. Pitch looks awful for the time of year.
