So at the moment, do we have enough players who are under contract to make a team?.

We have 12 contracted players according to Adam Lord of the Visitor.

There is no ''family silver '' in that lot though!

I would be happy with the midfield 4. Up front if we can sign that lad from Tranmere that we had on loan , Shay McCartan as a sort of number 10/Devitt replacement , another centre half preferably about 28 years old and a leader , a right back that can defend and bomb down the wing and a few utility players then the squad will be ok.

yeah think I'd go with that, it's better

Rather than talk about who would be in the team and formations, I think the first priority is to have something that was sadly lacking last season. Leaders on the pitch.
Hopefully Murphy is one of them, and can stay injury free.
We need players who are prepared to battle and not just go through the motions, or go "missing"on the field of play when the going gets tough.
Otherwise I do fear a relegation back to non-league is just around the corner, and I sincerely hope I am proved wrong.

Our soft centre midfield needs a really hard bastard in the middle to protect the defence and to do the dirty side of the game. You shall not pass should be his mantle...
