I'm saying the club COULD have printed some flyers advertising the game screening and asked local takeaways to display them on their premises.
Sorry. I missed the one post in the thread referencing something completely different to the actual topic. Forgive me.
I still maintain that advertising gets less bums through doors than people on here believe - it isn't just wanging up posters and a full bar magically ensues.
However, why the club decided to hold these at such late notice, the draw and fixtures having been known weeks before the end of the season when it could have easily have been promoted around the ground for almost nothing shows the complete lack of forethought at the club.
