Brexit and signing footballers

interesting debate on the radio, with the transfer market .

signing players from the EU weren't classed as foreign, ie. Arsenal being a French team or Swansea when playing Valencia in Europe had 8 Spanish players playing for them.

pundits predicting this summer you could see football clubs signing more British players, with I'm sure they said only 6 foreign players allowed per team. with clubs team building now for the future .

this will have an domino effect down the leagues.

in future we should be looking to give longer contracts to our better players, tying them down so bigger clubs have to pay transfer fee's.

I would be getting Barky and Edwards on longer deals

I know what you mean

Seriously, I know we joked about Spurs paying 2million for Barky, but the way things could go, Imagine what a lifeline just a fraction of that would be for Morecambe!

I did wonder if the FA could 'opt out' of Bosman in future, if they wanted to?
