!st League game starting 11

After last nights performance I'd have no problem in the starting 11 v Grimsby be that of last night with the possible inclusion of a change at right back.
I posted following the weekends games that I didn't rate the trialist left back and the trialist midfielder. Boy was i wrong
Both Tom Kennedy and Michael Rose proved what valuable and experienced signings they could be assuming that Jim is able to offer them deals. Both proved that they have a lot to offer particularly in midfield which has been an area of worry for me.
At long last we've at least one leader on the pitch in the form of the excellent Winnard; easy to see why the Accy fans didn't want to see him leave their rubbish pile. The other leader was Rose in midfield.
I also think that at long last we've got a centre forward who can compete in the air and cause centre backs problems both in the air and on the ground. If we can use Taylor to play alongside him to pick up the knock downs then we've got an equally potential strike force to rival that of last season.
We all know that pre season is all about fitness and shape but if we continue to play it on the ground and move it around like we ddid at imes last night then the season could be far better than last. however we all know that Jim has a hhabit of reverting back to the hoof ball when the season starts.
Let's hope that Jim and co don't revert to type....
