Moyes appointed Mackems boss, The Chosen One is back in the Premier League. On paper a good appointment I'd say; hopefully he gets time at Sunderland which he hasn't had in his last two appointments.

...and a radio interview with a former player to discuss reasons behind the move.
http://www.blackpoolgazette.co.uk/sport ... -1-8034201Ruthless Chairman and Owner decides a change in direction is needed. Interesting thoughts behind the success of an Academy and the time it takes for it to provide players capable of first team action. Probably looking to recruit a young experienced manager based in the North West. Wouldn't be surprised if Coleman comes into their consideration.
Men in the frame to take over.....

Chris Todd the first casualty in the Conference as Eastleigh sack him following their 2-4 home defeat on Tuesday v Dover.
Shipping 4 goals at home... and they'd signed Adam Dugdale pre season....!!

Ronnie Moore is the new Eastleigh manager.

A good manager at that level. He will get Scouseport out of trouble.
Is Stanners still on loan there after Bishop got bashed ?

Ex Tranmere and current Shrews boss Mickey Mellon and his side kick are clinging on to their jobs by the skin of their teeth at the moment. It won't be long until they are gone imo. The chairman has given them chance after chance. He has wasted so much money by buying and then paying off players. The fans have had to put up with so much garbage over the last 2 seasons that they've finally had enough. They have some cracking players but still can't produce. Taxi for Mellon to Tranmere anyone

Derby County are away at Cardiff City tonight but Nigel Pearson won't be in charge.
He was suspended by the club late this afternoon.
