Jim hasn't said that their won't be anymore signings yet. We may see a couple of new additions next week before the season starts. I admit a bit more communication between the club & fans wouldn't go a miss from month to month.

Adam Buxton has joined Portsmouth. Im concerned with us losing Devitt and Miller but Accy have lost the majority of their best players.

You know what I meant. It's harder to replace five or six quality players than two.

Haven't we signed more than we released?

I know its easier to replace 2 than 6 but we haven't got equal replacements imo.
Stockton may be the new Miller but Dev left a hole that we will struggle to fill.Incoming players aren't of the same quality imo, leaving us overall with a slightly weaker squad and last season was hard enoughwith only a flying start keeping us up.

Miller didn't score a goal until October. And after October it was a while until he found the net again. His loss is being overstated IMHO.

I see Molyneaux as the new Devitt. I think he will step up to the plate.

Think it's more likely he'll have been released at the end of this season to be honest!

I agree. What about Dunn who scored 3 goals in 5 appearances for Cheltenham in league 2. Turner who is no mug at league 1/2 level. Winnard & Murphy who were quality at Accrington. I think the players we have
now can hurt teams more than last season. The only down side is we have a slightly smaller squad than last time & it is keeping the players fit which is a problem. The so called bigger clubs always write us off from when we entered the football league that is why we have to prove them wrong once again for the 10th season. Also many teams have lost their entire team you only have to look at Accy & Oldham, so we are in the same boat. If Jim has learnt from his mistakes last season & uses the team to the best of his ability we should be fine in league 2. You never know we may surprise a few like Leicester City did last season. ;) Let the cod heads think it is a walk in the park tomorrow. Let our players do the talking. ;)

But only time will tell if our management duo have learned anything from last season. If we resort to the hoof ball tactics of past seasons then they have learned sod all and deserve whatever fate comes their way during the first half of the season. If we don't get a decent start and by Christmas are struggling to get results then I would expect the Board to act accordingly especially if we have new owners in charge.
