Does anybody know who is actually responsible for posting news articles on the OWS?
Personally I'd like some indication as to what team we will be playing at pre season games like that tonight at Kendal. I'll be going irrespective but maybe some fans would like to know if it's the Youth Team (as I suspect) or even a mixture of reserve team and 2nd year pros.

We usually put out a strong line up against Kendal so hopefully most of the first team squad will get some game time, not sure if the game is a bit later in the pre season schedule this time around which I suppose could affect the line up.

Surely this is the perfect opportunity for the manager to play what he believes is our strongest eleven with just days to go before our first competitive game. I haven't been to a pre season game yet but Im guessing the line ups have rotated to give the whole squad game time. The defence will need game time as a unit to improve understanding and communication.

I would expect only fringe players , possible trialists to mingle with academy players.

Not many first team players are involved tonight. Jims keeping them fresh for Saturday and rightly so. More or less be the reserve team

Glad I didn't go, Even though its a nice place. Also M6 southbound shut at 8 from 36-35 would be a nightmare to come back. Roll on Saturday. COYS.

I left 5 minutes before the end Paul and have come home down the A6 through Milnthorpe etc.
Road was dead. Literally sailed through !!

A6 really quiet, no issues driving South, biggest issue was the team played with no numbers on their shirts...so difficult to see who was who...still enjoyed the evening and caught up with a KT supporting mate....

Would that be the MFC/NTFC/KTFC fan?? Sat behind goal??
I was lucky enough to get a Teamsheet and identified players by their numbers on shorts!!

No issue with getting back through Endmoor and Burton.
A few Morecambe fans disgruntled they hadn't got to see some new players.
Biggest counter was from the Kendal fans and very noticeably the Kendal hierarchy and staff who had reserved tables nicely dressed and sandwiches, coffee and cakes for our directors and representatives - but nobody turned up... good for us cos we got well fed and very nice too.
Great Club set up, very friendly and a very attentive commercial manageress.
