Here we go !

Fellow shrimp fans, the new season has arrived and everyone's excited. If it's the slightest bit better than last season finishing a point and place higher then I'll take that right now ! We are what we are with the lowest budget in the division the takeover talks broke down so PMG and Bentley will lead us into the new campaign so let's get behind our team and manager and hopefully things will be on the up after a disappointing last 12 months. Any news on new signings I'll post in here straight away but I know we're still looking if the right player comes along so we still may see new faces in the next few weeks !

My info from the last SADARSE meeting would suggest otherwise BUT that was a month or so ago.... :!:

I've heard they have, if talks were going well like we was told they was last time. A deal would of been finalised by now !

Jamie Hoyland on BBC 1 local news programme tonight was reviewing all the northern teams prospects for the new season.

For League 2 he had Accrington in the play-offs or automatic promotion. He had Blackpool and Crewe as mid-table and guess who he has down for a season of struggle.

Lets hope we can make him eat his words

Cant see the logic in saying Accy will make the playoffs when they have lost so many of their best players, and i really don't see how anyone can know who has the lowest budget in this league unfortunately when something like that is said on here it tends to become a fact.

Before the season starts can we ban the "B" word? Sick of hearing it as an excuse! We have signed some quality players who have replaced some poor players (last seasons results are proof). Let's all hope the results do improve. Looking forwrd to achieving 50-52 points asap seeing as that seems to be our target reading the 8 page pull out in the Visitor. COYS
