It's how 16 Sardines feel after all that excitement. It's also a fitting description of Terry's minibus...

You want your Bentley out, you want your Bentley in, you do the shrimpy cokey and throw CC in the bin.
That's what it's all about.

Was great to watch Jim prowling round the box yesterday, constantly looking up to the top of the stand with various expressions during the game.
Loved it when he roared the crowd on - passion at it's Morecambe best

still not getting carried away, we were. top scorers in the FL by last October, then things were changed with selection, tightened up at the back restricting the goal flow and entertainment.

Not carried away George, just enjoying the moment.
We all know what can happen and often does.
My point is we don't blow the trumpets en mass when things go right, but when it's bad, which it has been, we react like Wildlings!

Exactly! Enjoy the good times. Store it up as a reserve for when the grim times are around!
A real buzz about the place again!

Go and find the quotes, then see how many are willing to come on and hold their hands up or how many are keeping their heads down until the next bad run, when they will be back saying "I told you so..."
Enjoy the good times! I can't get there on Wednesday, hope I can attend the Third Round!

I was one who had faith in Jim to turn it around after the Grimsby match. One match doesn't make a season. We have been in this situation before being top of the league & then it peter's out, hopefully not the case this season. However will enjoy being top of the league for the time being and see where it takes us over the next few weeks with tough games against Orient & Doncaster coming up

I don't think there is a single member of this forum that doesn't want to see Jim do well as Morecambe manager.
However, we're only four (league) matches into the season. We've been on top early before and slumped from October onwards. We've started off playing great football and soon withdrew into playing negative defensive football that has seen us squander result after result and crowds at the Globe dwindle.
Everyone on here will be happy to see the current form and tactics continue. However, those calling for Jim's head have every right to want to know why he only plays like this for a few weeks per season, and should things take a backwards turn in a few weeks, those saying "I told you so" have every much as right as those in this thread looking to lord it over the people who were (rightly) angry after the horror show at Grimsby. Would anyone really have thought it was the wrong decision if the club had parted company with Jim at the end of last season?
Give it a month and we'll see a truer picture of where we truely are - lets hope history doesn't repeat itself again this season. Roll on Wednesday - if we maintain this form, and Bournemouth rest a few first teamers, we have a real shout at an upset.

Hopefully JB realises how lucky he is to still be our manager after last seasons horror shows. If he has learnt anything from it he should continue with the positive tactics throughout the season. The new inexperienced defence (his words) are all down to him, and so far they are working better. Although Baz is still being kept busy! Hopefully we can enjoy more of the season in the higher end of the table and no slide this time.
