Why were we not playing in our away colours at Grimsby?

Simply because we didn't have them! I understand that the kit we had yesterday had only just arrived in time to have names and numbers printed before the team set off, and is a substitute kit with vinyl badges rather than stitched on. Had this not arrived in time, agreement had been reached with the Millers for us to use our home kit whilst they wore their away kit, but in the event this wasn't necessary.

We really should be receiving the kits at a discounted price, this is nothing short of farcical.

Even if we had the kits we wouldn't have worn them at Grimsby considering they would have clashed with Grimsbys home kit.
