Considering the lack of quality alternatives the new England Manager's first squad is pretty much what was expected BUT for me Rashford should have been included as well as Barkley.

Wish him well as the new Gaffer of our national team but expect the same predictable style and under achievement as we have seen too many times.

What has Henderson done to merit selection? Harry Kane was terrible at the Euros and has not been great so far this season. I was hoping Big Sam was going to shake things up and pick form players instead of the big club brigade? Antonio is a good selection but I think there are still too many passengers.

I agree RRW.

Defoe at Sunderland is on form, brilliant little finisher in the box.

Scot Dann at CP should be given a chance, he's solid and dangerous at set pieces .

Huddlestone at Hull is a player who's always caught my eye as a D/M. good passer .

Of the current bunch of strikers available Rashford for me is the only one that excites along with Vardy.

In the few moments he had on the field in the Euros he created more havoc than any other English striker.

Some say he's too young.....but they said that about Best and Giggs and they proved that age is no barrier to talent.

What does Mourinho know? It's Sam's decision after all. I've never liked Mourinho, it's always as if he does nothing and palms it off on staff who he doesn't like. I hope Big Sam doesn't fall into that trap like Roy did - Just agreeing with the FA on everything and just generally being a "yes man." I hope he pushes the boat out and tries new things to excite otherwise it'll just be the same old England... Luckily, Big Sam has been proven to be good at his level. He has avoided relegation in some almost impossible tasks but has never come across a job in a better club. Do us proud Big Sam!!!

Rumours Henderson will be named captain. If true thats insane because he shouldn't even be in the team.
