The proposed take over as seen by Carlisle fans

Some interesting comments from the Carlisle Fans Forum remembering that they have been through a similar scenario themselves albeit a few seasons ago.

Of particular interest are their questions as to why their club hasn't publicised its desire to be taken over.

Like this:

"These things generally swing massively either way, best they can wish for is the same as us - League One and the possibility of a few seasons in the sun that is The Championship.

As long as he is not a crook and does his best for the club then I am sure the fans will love the influx of Brazilians showing their silky skills at The Globe Arena, not so sure the said Brazilians will like playing at Morecambe on a cold January evening for five hundred quid a week though."

and this

Q. "First question which springs to mind is why would a Brazilian invest in Morecambe?"

A.
"The miles of golden sand, clear blue seas and fit birds in bikinis remind him of Copacabana?"
Enjoy yourself.... It is later than you think
