The second qualifying round took place last weekend and the draw for the third qualifying round has taken place. Lancaster beat Darlington who are two divisions above them to set up a home tie against another National League North side Kidderminster. Notorious giant killers Blyth Spartans were the victims of an upset against ninth tier Morpeth Town. The BBC will be delighted to see Salford progress. Plenty of North West sides won on Saturday: Altrincham, Chorley, Stockport, FC United. The third qualifying round fixtures take place October 1st. National League teams enter in the fourth qualifying round on October 15th, then we join the first round proper on November 5th. We have only reached the second round twice in our nine Football League seasons, hopefully we get a favourable draw (just not Dover).

The third qualifying round proved to be the end for Lancaster as they were unable to pull off another upset as they lost 3-2 against Kidderminster. BBC favourites Salford lost to Stockport.
The draw for the fourth and final qualifying round which sees National League sides enter has just taken place. Some interesting ties in the northern section with Barrow hosting Tranmere.

The fourth round qualifiers took place today. Northern victors include Altrincham, Barrow, Halifax, Macclesfield, Southport and Stockport. Dagenham, Dover and Whitehawk all progressed.
Leagues 1 and 2 enter the 1st round draw which takes place Monday at 7:10 on BBC 2. We are number 29.

We'd lose to any of those at The Globe. For god's sake change the name of the place.....it's worth a try

I'm just hoping we get a team lower than conference north so it would be an even contest!

Ninth tier Westfields with a stadium capacity of just 2000.

Then a home tie with Westfields would be an absolute nightmare......guaranteed to be highlighted on telly as a giant killing

Draw about to start. Who else is mildly excited and praying for an away tie? But not at Dover.

Why not at Dover? Revenge is sweet and it could well be a televised game.
