Why on earth is this poor lad not getting any serious game time . He is well thought of at Burnley , can't believe they are happy for him to be sat on the bench week after week . Believe when he played in the reserves he was a right handful ..... Bizarre !

They sent him here for matchtime after assurances he would get it, after going down two nil we might as well have given him a chance, might as well send him back now.

Totally agree, he gets given five minutes if he is lucky. Why not play him instead of mullin?

To be fair I was convinced Murphy was going to bag a 10 minute hat-trick when he came on

I'm surprised Burnley haven't recalled him,it's pointless him being here! Although he is probably learning loads of stuff from our management How to never get too high or low, how to take results on the chin, how to pass back to the keeper from various advanced positions on the pitch, how not to rush to try and score when losing 2 nil! All invaluable stuff

Have heard that our management think that he is a bit too raw for first team and won't get game time. If that's the case why sign him? He's been given a couple of 10 minute bursts in a few lost causes so far.

Give him a go, and get rid of Turner who is clearly a waste of time.

Amazingly , Turner was given a 2 year contract !

Jim and Ken must have seen something to give him such a contract but up to now he's been very disappointing in his fleeting appearances.

Both Masanka and Turner played for York City in their relegation season and were universally derided by their fans as poor players who couldn't get into a relegation side.

There's only so much polish you can do to a player.

Stockton was derided by fans of a Conference club who couldn't believe he was coming to us and despite doing well here, most don't think he'd get back in their side and don't want him back. Sometimes it depends what polish you are using & sometimes you need to have a closer look to find out if there is a diamond in there. I'd guess Jim's decisions are also based upon how he performs in training etc. That said, it would be nice to see a bit more of the lad before he goes back. It sounds like he can bring a bit of flair, so a game like yesterdays, perhaps he could have been given a go once we were 0-2, just to see if he could change things. The Player commentary were already saying we had no way back in to the game at that point.

Stockton and Massanka as a partnership........oh sorry, I forgot,we only play with one up front.
My mistake.

Probably gone back after the management refused to give him game time of more than 20 minutes. With Cole likely to return to Tranmere we should at the very least have seen if Ntumba could have filled the void that will happen come January with an extension of Ntumba's stay.

What's certain is that Turner can't... what a waste of a 2 year contract...another bad managerial decision.

I want to see Turner start a league game.

Fair enough, others have seen a bit more of him than I have (only a 10 minute cameo ages ago) but this lad hasn't had any time on the pitch and he is being written off by everyone.

I actually think there's more reason to write off Masanka who yes hasn't had much game time but has had more than Turner and hasn't impressed me.

Turner was billed as a young speed demon from non league - at the moment I'd hand a starting place to anyone who can run fast in a straight line.

Massanka has shown far more talent and desire than Turner when they've been given game time. Massanka certainly deserves more than he gets, whereas Turner still has alot to prove.
