We have been notified at college with the following, it may of use to some of you!

Costain have informed us of closures to Morecambe Rd (at Front entrance of College) this Wednesday (26th), Thursday (27th) and Friday(28th) from 9.30am – 3.30pm.

Morecambe Road will be closed to Morecambe bound traffic between Ovangle Road and McDonalds diverting traffic via Northgate and the new section of dual carriageway from the Honda garage.

Surely the big hole isn't going to be filled in at last.

They are prob doing the traffic lights and the big hole will still be there in 12 months time.

They've already started work on it so prepare to be amazed!

The Hole has already gone, and all the traffic lights are installed and now working.
I believe the work to be carried out is re-surfacing and road marking, including hatched areas by the entrance to the college.

Also closed 8.00pm - 06.00am, according to @Heysham_Link
