Whatever anyone thinks about our home form, we are 2 points off a playoff position, a lofty achievement for a club with hardly any fans and a group of very average players, in fact, its remarkable really, well done Jim and co.

Last season we were also 2 points off the play-offs at the same stage (but 3 points worse off). Looking the otherway, we were 14 points clear of the relegation zone whereas this season it's just 5.

If we do our usual post-Christmas collapse this season it'll be a close one.

It could also suggest that this is a poor league with little quality amongst the teams!

Third from bottom of the form table, 8 points from the last ten games is probably more relevant.

However you flower it up yesterday was shit,proper shit,relegation form,total and utter tripe,he has to go the sooner the better,spud head you aint a relation of Bentleys are you?Look at the conference as well nearly all crowds better than ours,why,probably they are being entertained,and not being had off week in week out with the same crap excuses being dished out for our inept showings

He has to go for me now and I can't believe some people are still backing him. People go about having no money to spend etc which I can accept. But, what I can't understand and what infuriates me is that. Why do we ALWAYS insist on backing off the opposition? Not closing down? Giving them acres of space to run into? Why do the full backs tuck in, players not looking like they are bothered to make a challenge, It was the same last season too None of this in my eyes is down to having money available to spend, but coaching and tactics. Jim doesn't seem to be able to notice this in my opinion, which is why I would not trust him with any money (should it become available to spend) as I fear it would be the same tactics etc regardless of players on the pitch.

It needs a revamp the club now we have a new owner. Somebody with fresh ideas and move us on for the best. Certainly if the run continues things need to change. Don't think it would matter how much you give our current management things would continue. We hoped after last season that we would learn from our mistakes but seems not.

I am not sure if you get a trophy for being 2pts from a playoff spot in the last week of October but I doubt we will be anywhere near the top half come the last game of the season when it matters.

Well said mph,heart of team still missing and a suspension for Flemming yet were still winning away,yesterday was a very bad day against an inferior club like Exeter but i thought it was down to the players,how a pro footballer cannot control a ball and not look were their passing it is down to them.Let's get behind the team in the meanwhile and see how well we do upto christmas and then see how the chairman changes the direction of the club.
