When's the protest then ? Absolute ridiculous considering they've owned us less than 3 months ! This could be the start of the end of our club !

Possible the worst thing to do. The last thing we want is for the club to be in even more debt due to people not paying in.

I suggest any protests are made after the game on Sunday. We have players and management who have apparently been playing for our club for free for at least the last month. They need our support and appreciation.

Let's get behind our team, show them that we love them and then hunt the Brazilian along with some much needed answers.

Surely this situation was developing (a) long before Diego and Abdul declared an interest and (b) would have happened even if they hadn't turned up.

Yes and we should have been trying to get answers years ago when things started going wrong or when we got the first PFA loan but instead we just get told to be thankful for where we are etc

I suppose if the old regieme run out of money that is more understandable but a new owner three months in to run out of cash is more alarming.

Possibly, possibly not.

Diego as the majority shareholder must now be held accountable for this mess.

It is pointless pontificating. As I've mentioned, we need a calm meeting of the fans, work out what needs to be done and then people go and do it- ideally Led by fcom Am currently starting the ball rolling on that, have left messages with the few people who's numbers I have, if you want to message me I'll give you my number and we can go from there?

That of course makes the rather massive assumption that Diego Lenos is the majority shareholder of Morecambe Football Club. There's no evidence for that or that he has paid any money for his shares.

I'm glad that the news is out. My understanding is that the players knew they weren't going to be paid on the Wednesday before the Exeter game and that, as expected no money appeared on pay day last Friday. It does put the Exeter game into context and sadly tomorrow's game.

Sell a player! I can't think of anyone that would bring in a sizeable transfer fee

Sorry, I assumed by the statement on the official MFC website that this was the case.

Can understand why people would think that. A takeover is usually concluded with papers signed and money passing from bank to bank. Apparently not in this case.

And according to forms lodged at Companies House both Diego and Abdul were appointed as Directors on 12 October. That would usually signify that monies had changed hands but if not then someone has jumped the gun.

The Board of Directors are running the club, or at least they should be.

Shareholders aren't the ones who run any company. Yes, they have powers/rights over the composition of The Board, and yes, some shareholders will also be directors so are wearing 2 hats, but at the end of the day, we have a Board of Directors comprising the two new guys, but also including several other long standing directors. If the company is being badly run, or if the directors are being left out of decision making, then they need to take their legal responsibilities as director seriously and get back into the Boardroom and challenge anything that's not right.

Owners / Chairperson of businesses and sporting clubs like ours usually have the final say over all matters. Directors usually are apportioned responsibilities but ultimately report to the Owner / Chairperson.

It's interesting that since the announcement of Diego and Co that PMcG hasn't been seen at the club and that the clubs General Manager and Director is still on gardening leave.

To be fair PMG passed me on Morecambe Road week before last I think on the Friday heading towards the Globe. Obviously I did not follow him directly to the ground but he was heading that way.
