1.Why did Graham Hodgson leave when he had devoted 20 + years to the club?
2. Why do we barely see Rod Taylor at games anymore? He's Morecambe through and through
3. What has happened to Mark Dixon ? No statement just vanished
4. PM said he would only sell if the deal was right for Morecambe. What did that mean?
This will probably get moved but I don't care anymore

Good questions, Half time Results. A fifth question is does the new owner have the resources necessary to develop the club?

Graham and Rod both had and have other business commitments. Graham still comes to games on occasions.
Rod has appeared more often recently as has Peter Howard, even Peter Cross made an appearance.
Can't help thinking what is going through all their minds right now. Wish Ken P was here, he wouldnt be silent thats for sure!
In answer to Fulwoods question, it is clearly NO, not at this point.

Rod is very much involved , he loves the club and devotes as much time as he can spare to helping behind the scenes, as do the other directors.

Does Diego have any money or is it all coming from Abdul?
Is Abdul still planning on being part of the club? Sure I saw something posted on here saying that Diego was at the match on Sunday but Abdul wasn't?

This situation must have been building up for a long time.
The latest accounts are already 18 months out of date and it would be hard to imagine the accounts to 31 May 2016 being anything other than a horror comic.
The directors set a budget in the Summer and gates in August September and October were decent with 2 of them being around 3,800 and the average being around 2,200 which is probably more than they budgeted for the season.
So what has caused the current cash flow crisis ?
Why did Diego and Abdul still go ahead assuming they could see how dreadful the books looked ?
If they hadn't purchased PMG 's shares what would PMG have done if this had happened when he was at the helm ?
Plenty of questions. No answers yet !!

Wonder if Abdul and his father have backed out of any sale after realising that it was requiring more investment than they first thought Their advisor Peter Harrison introduced them to our club just as he did to them at St. Mirren

That would only happen if no money has already been moved which isn't the case if other posters are correct. If money has moved and they pull out, that's an expensive few weeks in Morecambe.

If we have a club at the start of next season, can we have our club badge back and NOT piss about with its colours on the away shirt?

You can thank MTC for re-registering the town crest which is now exclusively theirs. Or yours for a fee.

From the sidelines I think it's obvious that there has been a lot of political wrangling at boardroom level for some time, which prompted some directors to leave or become less involved.
Some of those directors have recently become more involved again, now that PMG has sold up. We are placing a lot of trust in people like Rod Taylor, that Diego is legit.
At the moment, whilst we continue to have no meaningful announcements from the club, the whole situation is looking bleaker by the day.
There are massive question marks about the new ownership that need answering ASAP... do they have the capital to keep the club going? Nobody is coming out of this situation well at the moment, especially PMG.
I feel so sorry for the staff and players that have still not been paid.

Who could quite easily just decide not to work tonight.... people's livelihoods are at stake here sadly.
Hope this gets sorted PDQ.

PMG sold to Diego, not Rod. The only thing Rod might have to do is help dig the club out of the mire.

Rod released a statement saying something like he believes Diego is a decent guy

But he didn't sell to Diego. We all hope Diego is a decent guy but that doesn't make us liable.

Its sale agreed but not sold until money changes hands in my world. Could this be a sticking point??

If no money has changed hands, why not? We were told some time ago the club had been sold. In some people's worlds no money means no sale. Think PMG could throw some light on this fiasco and clarify what the situation is. Do the new owners have the resources the club needs to develop or are we in a Michael Knighton situation?

You'd kind of hope the Football League's rigorous "Fit and Proper Persons" test they had to go through would have clarified that... makes you wonder if the worse happens though.

So sale agreed but no money changed hands would suggest that Diego & Abdul are withholding the money for some reason. Are they having second thoughts or are they not happy with the terms of the deal having been involved with the day to day running of the club for a month or so and realised the monumental size of the task at hand?

Surely they wouldn't be described as the new owners if the deal hadn't been completed.
