From where I was, no sign of PMG.

I still find it very odd he hasn't had much to say at all since arriving or is it because not all the paperwork/transfer for the takeover has been finalised yet so he can't.

want to reassure everyone that the issues will be resolved soon
I want to stress that this is is a short term problem and assure fans that we have robust plans in place for the future of our great club
want to stress that we are totally committed to taking this club forward and see it continue to grow

You sure about that.....

Neil, It's entirely possible that Posh's hypothetical scenario as outlined elsewhere is correct, whereby an agreement was reached between the two, but now that Diego is getting fully into the due diligence he is finding that not everything is as he was led to believe. Similarly it is entirely possible that Diego made promises about financing that are now unravelling. Then again MPH may be right about it being down to arguing between the two of them. If you, like me, are completely in the dark and have no insider knowledge, it might be advisable to bite the bullet and await the dust settling (if it ever does), when we might be afforded a little more information on which to base our opinions, rather than challenging anyone who seems to criticise a man who you seem to think can do no wrong. I fully acknowledge what Peter has done for Morecambe, and I am expressly not casting any aspersions in any direction, just advising that all of us (not just you Neil) step back and think a little before making any rash statements (not that what you've said above is particularly rash, again just for clarification). Hopefully it will work out in the long run and we'll find out (diplomatically, I hope) what really has happened.
This is not intended to insult, demean or challenge anyone's point of view, so apologies if anyone feels that way, I'm merely trying to pour a little oil on troubled water.

Posh wrote:To make it absolutely clear while I expressed disappointment at how the previous owners worked with myself In the last couple of years at no time have I implied, suggested or said that there was any financial or other impropriety on the former owners part. The sale of a company comes with what are known as warranties and indemnities, essentially a recourse to take action should things not be as stated during the marketing, sale and due diligence process. They would be bound by that and there'a little value in misrepresentation. A discovery of difference could be watching a big crowd against Blackpool and Premier League Bournemouth one week and then coming back to crowds a third the size against Exeter and booing. Again it was merely a suggested possibility that there was a change of perspective.
