JB has sent another message to me at tonights meeting , he says that Jim and the players must take matters into their own hands, he says that to prove he is ''in limbo'' , he will grant them a temporary reprieve in the form of a win against Plymouth on saturday, but they must all gather in the centre circle before the kick off, each player must have a block of ice in his hand made from frozen water out of the Morecambe bay , the players must watch the ice melt in their palms, and then play their match, the most important thing then, there must be no player leaving the pitch by way of substitution in the 90 minutes, ignore these instructions and Plymouth will win.

Bollocks to that. IMO if nobody in the upper echelons can not see that we will be in the bottom 2 very shortly and do nothing about it then I can't be assed either.
Without a magic potion once we are down there we wont get out.
If that's what they want then so be it.

You do know that salt water has a much lower freezing point than fresh...
Other than that, I think I've expressed my opinion about superstitious claptrap enough.

Yes, but it will have to be much colder in the first instance to freeze - wouldn't want to hold that, and besides, it'll melt before they get out to the centre circle!

Instead of being negative about the finer points of physics , you need to focus on the power of positive thought here Phil, I am far from spiritual , but needs must, dark forces are at work , JB (both of them) in limbo , and straws need to be clutched at.
As 'Mystic Myrtle'' , said to me after our heated session, ''sometimes the reality is too horrible to contemplate'', before putting her teeth back in.

Mr P, I am generally of a positive mind - you don't have to believe in spiritualism to believe in the power of a positive mental attitude. As for the reality being too horrible to contemplate - I'm trying not to, but I think I'll leave you to enjoy Myrtle's bite!
