Predictions please - Mansfield away on Boxing Day...!!

Postby Seasider9601 » Mon Dec 19, 2016 9:59 am

Tough game. Tough place to go.

Depleted numbers and suspensions etc etc.

Can only see a defeat I'm afraid.

Mansfield 2 Morecambe 1

(Hope I'm wrong of course)

If we have enough fit players and they play with the heart they had on Saturday 0-1 win.

We're away from home and down to the bare bones. If only Mansfield were higher up the table it'd be a nailed on 3 points, but let's go with it anyway. It probably won't matter a couple of days later, but who knows.

The true position of the club has finally sunk in to all of us so I expect it has with the players as well. Will it be a 'what's the point?' performance or one that says ' Come on. These may be our final games together so let's go out with a bang'?

Come to think about it....what's the point in trying to forecast correctly? So heart over head...1-3.

A tough one, but we have nothing to lose at the moment, hopfully Jim can rally his troops and snatch a win, the spirit of JB has advised me to bet on a shrimps win with both teams to score, I am going for a 2-1 shrimps win.

So that's JB's prediction, what's yours? I want to see how well JB's spirit does over the rest of the season! 8-)
