Meanwhile......what about the footy?

In all this exitement football conversation is taking a back seat, but whoever owns the club in January is going to have to perform miracles to keep us in the football league, we have barely 15 players fit or available for selection, morale can't be very high, and we obviously need around half a dozen reasonable additions to fight for our survival in league 2, not good is it.

Not good at all no.

I just know though that Jim will, as ever, be doing his utmost best to try and get us some points on the board.

Jim, I take my hat off to you sir.

Exactly! Surely everyone now appreciates the conditions that Jim has been working under for so long. Just keeping going is amazing and massive respect to the players & management. Now if we could just get a little good luck or competent officiating...

Last season I wanted Jim to go but if I'm honest now
We are lucky Jim is still here because no other manager would of stayed under the circumstances.
If Jim keeps us up then they want to knock down the Eric statue and build one of Jimbo
COYS

I said something similar on another thread.

We would never find a manager with things the way they are at present to take this job on and put in the hours and effort that Jim does to find decent players who want to resurrect their careers like Miller , Devitt , Barkhuizen etc etc. He deserves the chance to manage Morecambe under more favourable conditions if those ever return.

I agree with all comments posted above. Jim has always got the passion and drive to see the club successful on the pitch. At times like this it's a shame that he hasn't, or doesn't seem to have, the finances to make little old Morecambe a force to be reckoned with in league 2.
I've been watching football for 40 years now and right now am at my whits end in seeing MFC seemingly sliding into oblivion. I really hope I'm wrong.

I am sure Jim will be enouraged by the fact that his detractors are starting to make u turns, we need him much much more than he needs us, if Jim were to go we'd be fucked.......so come on CC, say sorry, and make it sincere please
