Diego's Christmas Lunch

Diego's Christmas Lunch

As Diego eats his Christmas Lunch in sunny Qatar he can reflect on his achievements as owner of Morecambe Football Club. These include:
The failure to pay staff wages on time in October
Negative publicity for this
The enforced sale of one of the better players
More money loaned from the PFA to pay wages
The looming threat of administration
National negative publicity about the future of the club
The resignation of a club director and one of the club's main sponsors

What a proud record of achievement, that must call for another slice of turkey and in the words of the Irish philosopher Frank Carson "There's More". Diego has brought a whole new meaning to "hands on" ownership by staying incommunicado in Qatar. He has also made the same sacrifice as the Trappist Monks by taking a vow of silence! Oh what a time its been! Lunch tastes good.

True fans of our club have a bad taste in their mouths! To these fans have a Happy Christmas and let us hope for better news in 2017.
