I don't recall anyone suggesting that they were "friends". Diego was always "leading a consortium", which I'd assume was predominantly Abdulrahman.

Posted: Sat Dec 24, 2016 11:43 amThe fit and proper persons testing is clearly a load of balls. The FA and FL need to do something, because they can't come out of this clean if people on here can find out how grubby all involved in the takeover are through a bit of googling.

I think this a welcome and positive statement especially as it has been issued by a PR agency who would not want their name to be associated with another batch of false promises.
The indication that it will be a consortium to resolve issues is an excellent proposal and I wish it success for all parties concerned, both on and off the field.
Just hope that all the work that Jim has been doing over the last few weeks / montrhs to bring in much needed experience is now once again on the agenda.

It is from a law firm not a PR agency.
The comment in the statement is a positive one. However, there is a very long road ahead of us. Diego Lemos still owns the vast majority of the club and that won't change until a long legal process is concluded. There is a lot of water to go under a lot of bridges before we can even think about moving forward. Our financial position is also incredibly precarious and the ownership confusion won't help us.
