This is the most positive news to come out of this sorry mess, and is a welcome start, I wish the board well in what is going to be a very tricky period.

This statement by Abdulrahman is surely evidence that club directors can provide to the Football League in their determination of whether Mr Lemos is a "fit and proper" person to continue being involved with our club.

Is Abdul not friends with Diego ? I thought they were hiding together ? This is one big mess and I'm confused to what's going on !

I don't recall anyone suggesting that they were "friends". Diego was always "leading a consortium", which I'd assume was predominantly Abdulrahman.

The fit and proper persons testing is clearly a load of balls. The FA and FL need to do something, because they can't come out of this clean if people on here can find out how grubby all involved in the takeover are through a bit of googling.

A positive light at the end of a very, very long tunnel....
I think this a welcome and positive statement especially as it has been issued by a PR agency who would not want their name to be associated with another batch of false promises.
The indication that it will be a consortium to resolve issues is an excellent proposal and I wish it success for all parties concerned, both on and off the field.
Just hope that all the work that Jim has been doing over the last few weeks / montrhs to bring in much needed experience is now once again on the agenda.

A ''friendly warning'' , is just like a red rag to a bull with me , so I will continue to say what I like, as I said to my friend, ''what I think, and what I think is funny'', are entirely different things

It is from a law firm not a PR agency.
The comment in the statement is a positive one. However, there is a very long road ahead of us. Diego Lemos still owns the vast majority of the club and that won't change until a long legal process is concluded. There is a lot of water to go under a lot of bridges before we can even think about moving forward. Our financial position is also incredibly precarious and the ownership confusion won't help us.

Agreed, and although a club like ours will probably always be owned by one person or consortium, a well organised supporters trust will help ensure that in future ,this sort of calamity doesn't happen again, in the meantime, the best thing fans can do, is to continue being fans, and giving Jim and the lads 100% support.

As the statemet was issued by a Law Firm, then it's even more credible and shows to me that Abdulrahman is not to be messed with.

What do people think in terms of;
Diego has paid in full and therefore is the owner
or
Diego has not paid in full and can be ousted
?

He definitely has not paid for his shares. He has paid a deposit and that's it!!

The amount paid isn't the issue, the problem at the moment is he has the shares and he is the chairman.

Wonder if we will get a statement from "The Owner" in the coming days? A bit of triangulation wouldn't go amiss
