Sounds optimistic, creditors and banks on our side. More than hopeful we will come out the other end in one piece

Anyone who listened to that will possibly be as shocked, but maybe not surprised, about what has just been said

Watching the draw now

Listened to it twice, could not fault the questioning , but felt non the wiser afterwards, my personal opinions have not altered one bit.

I'm just surprised to PMG stating he hasn't been paid apart from a token, he didn't see anything of the £2M investment and although it went on over a long period the shares certificates were handed over without the money.
The Board are "staggered" so I can assume it's been the equivalent of a heist
They are still going over everything to calculate all the damage, good luck to them with that

There's a lot to come out what we all don't know yet. Let's just hope we get out of it all in one piece. I've heard a few worrying things today what are better not to post on here as it may not be true but the sooner this mess is sorted the better !

The interview confirmed what many fans have long suspected. Diego put no money into the club. What were his motives? Was it purely financial? The audit now being carried out will reveal how much money has been taken out. The answer about Abdul's family was interesting. It made me wonder if they have already put money into the club? At least there is now openness and that is the start of sorting out the problems. The interview made it obvious the sooner there is a Supporters Trust to help the club the better. We have to maintain the togetherness and spirit of the last few weeks- united we can get through this. The collection for the manager's fine was an excellent example of supporting one another- let's keep it going.

Funny how we all ''hear'' different things from the same interview, I'll go along with Kendal shrimp on the ''worrying things'' line, as there are no guarantees it will be sorted out and I personally wish somebody extremely qualified to do the job was appointed.

He clearly feels Abdul, still on the scene, is trustworthy. I sincerely hope he's right!

Still no clue as to how we get the shares back and get rid of Diego do we just hope he fails to turn up in court.

Peter used the words ' United board again' does that mean that Nigel is back on board maybe not as Vice Chairman but certainly as a functioning Director and all important club sponsor.... :?: :?: :?:

Personally I'm a wee bit more optimistic that our club will get itself out of this mess but it may take time and further revelations before the light at the end of a very long tunnel shines a bit brighter than at the moment.

The sooner we as fans get ourselves sorted into a Trust the better for all concerned.

Please be clear, ''we get our shares back'' , you mean, ''Peter gets his shares back'', then , we are either in a position where A.we are back to how we were 3 months ago, or B. putting our faith in Peter selling the club to someone who will pay all our debts and invest in moving us forward.

I would far prefer A or B rather than the S we have found ourselves in

Not much in there that we didn't know already.

Basically PMG was ripped off. Sold for much less than his investment but only got a fraction of what he sold it for. Seems that Abdullah put up an amount of money as his share of the takeover and Diego and friends scarpered with that. PMG also says that he knew that Diego was a conman but others on the board, presumably Rod, were still believing the story weeks later. That was evident in the press conference and statement at The Morecambe Hotel that Diego turned up late for. I think many people, even after it was evident Diego was not what he seemed wanted the story of the takeover to be true. A lot of people trust Rod, and rightly so, but it seems so many have been suckered along the way.

Why? PMG talks about a 'black hole" at the club as if millions have suddenly walked out the door with Diego. The reality is that it existed before. We were under a transfer embargo, beholden to the PFA to pay the wages and going cap in hand to the council and anyone else to bail us out. Diego and his cohorts will have added to our woes but the hole was already there. You can't blame Rod, PMG and others for hoping that Diego might have been our saviour.

Having said all that we've got to get ourselves out of this God awful mess. To be fair PMG is doing his best to resolve the situation, starting with getting back control of his shares. He has a united board borne out of a survival instinct. With us losing the Accy game, we've just lost a vital £20k+ of income.

For me long-term survival will not come through just PMG on his own or through the board in isolation. Hearing the news via The Bay or Radio Lancs (great questions by Tim Padfield) is one thing but it would have been nice through our own website or a fans forum first. Personally I'm tired of the fans being treated like mushrooms - kept in the dark and fed s***. Now is the time for fan involvement and I hope that we can get the Supporters Trust up and running and get some serious voice for a group who've put tens of millions into Morecambe FC and will be here long after Diego, PMG, Mr Potatohead, me, Jim Bentley and Marky's 1-37 are gone - the fans.

Posh do you think PMG can get his shares back and try and sell or is he standing to loose an absolute fortune.

If he* has had ''some'' money, and he successfully gets his shares back , Diego will have to take legal action to try and get a refund, won't he?

* (and a lot of other people, plus institutions as well)

Probably better to leave things to PMG's legal representatives rather than speculating.

Starting to come round to PMG again after being very angry with him for getting us into this mess. Diego obviously played a blinder and conned everyone. Gut instinct should have said something was wrong with the obscure Brazillian taking an interest in MFC but in an act of desperation he took a punt. His legacy with fans will depend how the next 12 months pan out with the Club.

Priority for the Supporter's Trust for me is to get a representative on the board ASAP. After all this mess its the least we deserve and like Posh says we contribute more to MFC than any one individual.

To echo what Posh says, I'm past caring about what comes out of the club regarding what's going on. I trust that they are moving heaven and earth to keep us afloat, and I wholeheartedly support what they are trying to achieve as that would be the best case scenario for all involved.

What we need to do is to prepare for the worst. After the trust/fcom meeting on Thursday things will be a lot clearer for what we are looking to do.

If there's one thing I've learnt from running up my company mobile phone bill ringing supporters direct over the last 3/4 weeks - we CANNOT simply wait and wait and wait, and that is my message to anyone.

Bradford Bulls is their point. Their "supporters club", believed the directors, waited for the administrators, waited for a consortium and the administrators, and waited and waited.

Result - liquidation, and no rugby league club to support.

If we act NOW we can have everything in place for a worst and a best case scenario by the end of the month.

Sorry? PMG sold his private, personal shares in a limited company to someone he knew to be a conman? Seriously?

Given that PMG didn't come near the globe for several weeks and that MD was on "gardening leave", I took it to mean it was PMG/MD on one side (and were either boycotting the globe or not welcome) and the remainder of the board on the other.

Sorry but I don't buy anything I hear at all, the whole thing stinks and I feel that all this ''we can't comment but it will all come out in time'' is just codswollop.

I take that to be after the shares changed hands.
