Any danger of the Carlisle game being snowed off or will we be safe travelling all that way up north?

Been windy and down to about -2 tonight. Most problems are on the East coast, but there's quite a bit of snow forecast over Shap tonight.
Should be quite a scenic trip over the hills whether you are going by road or rail.

They are preparing for a massive storm surge down the Eastern side at lunchtime, evacuations in place

I'm currently in the middle of the Irish Sea, hooked up to dodgy wifi. Lovely day and not too bouncy! :D

I've looked at the forecast for Carlisle and it looks like it's going to be frosty overnight, but hopefully a bit of sun on Saturday before the game will warm it up and it'll be fine. Looking forward to the game!

I've bought a new camera for travelling with (much lighter to carry). Tomorrow is the first time I'll get a chance to use it properly, so I'm hoping for nice sunny day! Could be lucky to end up with only a couple of decent images

Hopefully they won't be of the referee, groundsman and managers stood in the shade at the Warwick Rd end of the pitch!
