Radio Cumbria matchday reporting

I chose to listen to Radio Cumbria matchday reporting yesterday and they where impressed with the way that we approached the game and in particular the pre match work done by our management team in negating the tactics of the opposition. However they did feel that some of our decision making in the final third could have been better and if so we would have been winners hands down. They were particularly critical of one instance where Rhys Turner had the chance to score but chose to pass to a colleague and wasted a glorious opportunity to take all three points.

In their final match summary they agreed that we more than deserved the point and felt that our approach to the game was commendable and showed a great deal of professionalism. Just a pity that one poster of the Carlisle forumreckoned that we are a dirty team and that Kevin in particular was too aggressive which negated the very complimentary words of our golden oldie by the Cumbria Radio match day summariser.

They played Radio Cumbria's radio recordings of the goals back in their post match and former Carlisle player Chris Lumsden said it was a beautiful goal by us but the radio Cumbria lackey said it was down to poor defending !
