Burnley v Blackburn Rovers (Not O/T)

At the Globe Arena this Monday kick-off at 13-00 hours Burnley are at "home" to Blackburn Rovers in a Premier U21 match.

Spectators will be admitted.

I believe this is the first of a number.

Presumably this is a money raising exercise like when we used to host Blackburn Rovers Reserves. No doubt some of the fee will be a contra to pay for the services of Alex Whitmore.

The new training facility at Gawthorpe hall in Burnley is nearing completion so they have nowhere to play the games at the moment, excellent opportunity to see some stars of the future at the Globe, and maybe some recuperating top flight players.
