With all the football politics knocking around, in the gym this morning trying to shift one of my many chins and bellies at spinning, this song came on for a bit.

Love it....got this 66 year olds heart a pumping and my feet a tapping and my arms a thumping.....didn't do my head a banging much good though.....

As I'm a relative newcomer, and as it's almost a year to the day since it happened, I have to say Barry's goal against Portsmouth. Really was one of those moments of sheer joy that keep you going when it gets bad.
And the follow up joy of hearing Lawro on the radio asking Baz "So, do goalkeepers practice headers a lot?"

Yes, Baz's goal against Portsmouth was magic as was the Crewe game of a few years ago when we scored late goals to win. Wasn't it 4-3? Wonderful shrimp moments.

A game that always stuck with me was 5-2 win vs Telford at Christie in the 99/00 season. Trying to find stats for it online but coming up short.

7-0 v Altrincham at Christie in our first Conference season and THAT John Norman goal.

Grimsby away, last minute Hunter goal from Twiss corner.

Those final few minutes v Crewe at home when we all thought the game was lost.....incredible

Very much like the saga on going with the sale...it's not over until the fat lady sings.

Anyone remember Grays Athletic away on the last day of 05/06?

Went there needing a result to get in the play offs. I think Forest Green or someone did us a favour and it didn't matter anyway.

I seem to remember a lot of our fans were dressed as pirates or have I imagined this?? and the joke 'Where's me buccaneers?!' got quite a few airings. I think it's the only Shrimps away game i've flown to too.
