I reckon there will still be plenty of clubs out there who wouldn't mind having Jim has there manager. His value must have risen to new level given what he's done over the last few months. Hopefully he's here to stay a while longer.

Great interview with Jimbo summing everything up perfectly. After what has happened and is still happening to us, MFC could have gone in one of two directions. Possibly the easier option would have been for each member of the club to take care of themselves as a priority. That would have led to a lot of factional infighting and we would have been dead and buried.
What appears to be happening is that, led by people like Jim and Rod, we have pulled up the drawbridge and developed a siege mentality. "We are Morecambe. If you want to destroy us, come and try it." Yesterday's match was all about what we are as a club. From the great service at the food counter to Jim being alone on the pitch at the end in front of the fans everything yesterday clicked into place. My two sons each brought friends to the game and they really enjoyed themselves.
The team played as well as they have played all season and anyone of several players could have been given the MoM award. The defence looks really solid and we are very good going forward. I liked Jim's stagemanaging of the last two minutes when he allowed Kev to walk virtually the whole width of the pitch (very, very slowly!) to get a fully deserved ovation. Well done to all concerned.

Jim was still at The Globe at 8 O'clock last night which just goes to show how dedicated he is to the job.
He deserves a more stable club which we hope comes sooner rather than later and maybe a bit more budget although "bare bones" always seems to work for us

"shown everyone..." Everyone who was slating him, sometimes quite nastily (not you maybe)... Others stuck by him cos they didn't think HE was the problem.
